God's perfect knowledge. Love and justice

Jesus, I am struggling about the question whether the Father knows everything or not.
You don't need to struggle and you don't need to know. This question is, at its core, a question of faith. Behind this question, many would like to know everything, and to put us in a box. You don't need to do that.
What is important is to trust the Father, to choose the relationship with us and to follow me in all you do and all you think and say.

Jesus, what about the statement in Genesis 6, that the Father regretted creating humans?
You can understand this statement in the way that the Father was very sad of the first fruits of humanity. He wanted to remove all of that. It does not mean that his project was canceled, but humans needed to know his disappointment so that Noah could follow, so that Abraham could pursue the Father's plan of love for this world. We are always looking for whom we can send. You can think of Isaiah, how we called him. Do we know in advance his response? You don't need to know. The problem with humans is that they turn the table and want to play the role of God, they want to be the ones putting God under a microscope. This is not possible.
You cannot describe the Father in a set of absolute statements.
Do we love? Yes. Do we judge? Yes. Do we know what we do? Yes.
Do we want to share all that we know? No, this would not be wise.
The more closely you walk with me, the more deeply I will share with you my love for this world. With Isaiah, we could share deep truths, that reached to the far future, up to my coming on earth through Mary and Joseph.
Remember how an army functions. Each has enough information to play well their role. The higher the rank, the deeper the knowledge. The closer you come to us, the more we will reveal to you the broad plans of our love and the part you have to play in them.
Many are tempted to come close to us through their minds, forgetting to also come to us through their hearts.

Jesus, some people want to highlight that you know everything and that therefore all is already defined, to the risk of leading us to passivity in our life. Others highlight your love, leading them to the conclusion that you don’t know everything. How to find a balance?
The balance is not in words or concepts but in the relationship with us.
You can speak as much as you want about relationship with us. The truth is that each of my disciples has to learn to let my Spirit dwell in them and to dialog with me, to listen to me and to do our will. In this way, we can guide them in all truth.
In your days, the temptation of many is to highlight so much our love, that they forget that judgment is part of this love for the creation. Judgment rises out of our love for this world. When an oppressor is judged by the Father and destroyed, the one who was oppressed calls it a deliverance and an expression of God’s love. You cannot neatly separate our love and our judgment, both are related. Love and justice go hand in hand. Poetry can help you handle this, as David did.
Psalm 85: 8-11,
I will listen to what God the LORD says;
he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants—
but let them not turn to folly.
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
that his glory may dwell in our land.
Love and truth meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Truth springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness looks down from heaven.

Ultimately, you have to remember that your capacity to think is not designed for defining a perfect model of who we are, but instead to help you relate to us. I am alive, you cannot put me in a box. The Father is a burning fire, uniting love, holiness and justice in him. Love is not an abstract concept that the Father illustrates. He is the very definition of perfect love, that is revealed in coming closer to Him. In coming closer to us, in learning to listen to what we have to say, you will grow in our love and in our truth.

Divine Healing

As Christians, we believe that healing can come through prayer and obedience to God’s guidance. This is exemplified in the life of Jesus and of his disciples in the New Testament.
Healing people was a key part of Jesus' ministry. When John sent disciples to know whether he was the one he expected, Jesus answered: “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them." (Luke 7:22, ESV)
Jesus then sent his disciples with the authority to heal and to cast out demons. Healing and deliverance from impure spirits are two facets of a same reality, as can be seen in Acts 10:38, "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him."
The Western medicine sometimes separates the body from the soul or spirit, treating the body as a machine. This is a mistake that Eastern medicine did not do, with a sensitivity to actions and habits that can harm the body. Seeing the body only as a machine is to deny the connection between physical well-being and spiritual well-being. Slowly, people realize the connection between body and spirit. For instance, unforgiveness can cause diseases, and this has even become a serious subject of study for the ‘Western medicine’. Slowly, doctors become more open to a holistic approach to the body. They recognize the interactions between body, soul and spirit. There are strong connexions between spiritual influences, psychological attitudes (the soul) and eating, sleeping or other physical habits. All these influences are all connected to the body’s well-being.
Jesus came to save. The Greek new testament word ‘sozo' (σῴζω) means ‘to save' but also ‘to heal,' ‘to deliver.' This helps us to see why in Jesus’ ministry healing, deliverance and proclaiming salvation are not as strongly separated as we would think. We could speak of a holistic ministry. There are clear connections between salvation, healing and deliverance. Physical healing or spiritual deliverance can be a strong sign of God’s coming salvation, an early preparation for our resurrection.
The challenge we have is to both recognize this important connection  between body and spirit, and to be cautious about possible confusions. It is not because someone is not healed when we pray that the person is a sinner. Sin can cause disease, and God’s forgiveness can lead to healing. (see for instance Mark 2:1-12, John 5:13-14). Yet, when someone is sick we should not begin to probe which sin is at the root, as the disciples did in the story of John 9 (see verses 1-3). We should rather learn from Jesus what to do. In any situation, he always came to the Father to discern what to do. He acted in various and sometimes surprising ways in order to heal people: sometimes he touched them (Mark 1:31), sometimes he put mud on the eyes of a blind man (John 9:6-7), sometimes he manifested openly that it was an answer of the Father to his prayer (John 11:41-44). In all cases, Jesus said what the Father told him to say (John 12:49-50), did what the Father showed him to do (John 5:19). We can do the same and even more through a living faith in Jesus (John 12:12-14), since Jesus promised that he would be with us until the end of the age (Mt 28:20), and that the Holy Spirit would teach us everything (John 14:15-17,26). This is the key for discerning what to do when someone is sick, our listening obedience to God. We are invited to learn to listen and obey to the voice of Jesus and of the Holy Spirit in all we say and all we do. We will then imitate Jesus, as ‘little christs' or Christians. We will follow the Way to the Father that he is, that he has opened for us.
Instead of developing sterile methods for ‘efficient prayers’, or useless justifications for why some people are healed and some are not, let us come to Jesus' school of prayer, to a real intimacy with God. Each person is different, and each disease has different causes. Are there spiritual, psychological or physical reasons? Yes. Is there a method to know all of them? Yes and no. There is no method without listening to God.
Doctors have developed thoroughly the aptitude to listen to God through his creation, what is called medicine. This is a key part in listening to God and following his guidance. Yet, God does not speak only through the laws of nature that he gave us. He also speaks through the spiritual laws he gave us in the Bible. God still wants to speak to us every day, though many ways. As we learn to listen to God in each situation, He will guide us on what to do and what to say, in the same way He guided our Lord Jesus.
Yet, we shall recognize that we are students and not masters. We can make mistakes, specially when we pray for people who are dear to us. When we desire very strongly for someone to be healed, it can cloud our discernment and cause a confusion. This is not a call for passivity, but rather for humility. To claim that God deceived us and did not do what he said is more a sign of spiritual immaturity, of lack of humility, than anything else. As we accept that we can make mistakes, we remember that we are not masters but students of God's grace. This could help us avoid many unnecessary pains and repeated mistakes.
Does God still want to heal today? Yes. Does he want to deliver from impure spirits? Yes. Does he want to save people? Yes! Let us simply remember that eternal life is not about food or drink, or about perfect physical health now. Eternal life is to have an intimate relationship with God, obeying His voice and learning to know him, the only true God, and the one whom he sent: Jesus Christ (John 17:3).
Some will mention a biblical verse like James 5:14-16 (the prayer of faith will heal the one who is sick), stressing that all should be healed (or saved - the Greek verb here is ‘sozo,’ that can be translated: to save, to heal or to deliver). There is a similar mistake that some do when they read Proverbs 22:6 (Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it), confusing wise advice with prophecy. Wise advice encourages you in a way producing more fruits, not a way always fruitful. A prophecy is something that will come to pass. Both Proverbs 22:6 and James 5:14-16 are wise advice, not prophecy.
What we learn in James 5:16 is that there is a strong connection between righteousness and the efficiency of our prayers (Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.) Therefore, when we pray for people to be healed, we should invite them to confess and repent, if they are doing something opposed to God’s will. It is a key part of the healing process. This is similar to what John or Jesus also taught, when they preached: repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is near (Mt 3:2, 4:17).
Also, we should make sure that in our relationship with God we have a good communication, rooted in an obedient heart. Ultimately, sin is to be separate from God, and righteousness is therefore listening to God and doing what he tells us through Jesus and through the Holy Spirit.

Practically, if we learn to listen and to obey God in all we do, he will much more frequently listen to our prayers and do what we ask. This is the wonderful power of God’s love, that flows through his faithful children. You want to see more people healed? Pray more often for people, learn to listen to Jesus always more often. He loves this world. Jesus wants to let his love flow in you and through you to many. Keep a humble heart, accepting that you can make mistakes in what you hear from Jesus. He can teach you through these very mistakes, bringing you closer to His heart, through the Holy Spirit’s teaching.
God’s love has not been quenched. God’s miracles are still for today. His love delivers, his love heals, his love brings salvation still today. God is waiting for us to come to His school of love. He wants us to turn away from our selfish ways. He wants us to experience the joy of being filled with His Spirit, His Spirit flowing out of our hearts and transforming lives around us.

What is the relationship between medicine and prayer?

Jesus, what is the relationship between the healings that medicine allows and healings that happen as we pray?

Do not separate the Father completely from His creation. He has embedded in the creation the capacity to discover some of the principles of its function. These principles are very important and science and medicine study them with much attention. Yet, the Father has also embedded in His creation the need for fellowship and love. This part is very frustrating for scientists and doctors alike. For doctors, it will remind them that even for situations that look simple one person heals and the other dies. The temptation they always have is to forget that it is not an impersonal universe but ours.
Many marvel at the beauty of a human body and then blame God for someone dying. Don't you find that incoherent? Many try to split this creation from the Father, in an attempt to pretend that all the beauty came 'by chance' and all the suffering could be blamed on God. Any parent would be shocked by a kid trying to do something like that in their house.
To understand the relationship between medicine and the power of prayer, you have to see that all the universe has meaning, and that the Father can use everything. Medicine gives key principles on how we created bodies and how they function. This function follows our guidance as much as when you pray and we answer. There is no need to separate 'scientific laws' and 'spiritual laws'. In the universe, we want to teach you through everything. The question is how much do you want to learn? How often are you ready to come to our school of love?
If you want to master and control, then your knowledge will be limited by this attitude. It will limit your aptitude to listen and to observe, and thus your aptitude to learn.
If you want to listen to our words carried in the universe, you will learn much better. Faith and science are not opposed. In fact, a form of faith is always the foundation of what people call the 'progress of science'. You have to believe there is something to learn, that there is coherence in order to discover it. The limits of your faith with define the limits of your discoveries.
Yet, it is not the one claiming to be the most pious who will be the most open to our word and guidance. Some will claim to be very pious and yet put us in a box and use the Bible as a tool of power. Others will try to prove that we don't exist and will end fighting their own very foolish ideas about us.
Some will be willing to learn, to be like children marveling at something they find beautiful, and we will accompany them in their marveling. This is a key part of the saving faith I came to preach on earth: you will not enter the kingdom of heaven if you don't become like little children, marveling and being open to our teachings of love.
Does it mean that people will attribute to us what they discover? Not always. Especially in your modern culture that is sometimes afraid of us and wants to be totally 'objective'. To observe well is important, yet to think that you observe perfectly is plain foolishness. You always notice only a tiny part of reality. Nobody can fathom the depths of even the most simple scientific experiment. It is by narrowing down what they observe, by limiting parameters, that scientists find some keys of understanding. There is no objectivity in this limitation. I hope scientists will learn to distinguish this lofty and unattainable objectivity from humility. Humility is about keeping the eyes of a child, of describing the best you can what you see or experience, and trust that some good will come out of it. Gone are the false perfections, gone the crushing pride of fools.

As you learn to see with us, as you learn to remain in me and I in you, you will see that the discoveries of science and our responses to prayers can be seen together.
When you pray, we want to guide your hand in this world. It is not only about you or me, but you in me and me in you.
The goal of prayer is not to get things, it is to get me.
As you receive me, Jesus, Yeshoua, the deliverer, I guide you in all you do, and bring fruits through all you do. The more you understand this goal of your life, the more you will see unity and coherence.
As people let our Holy Spirit rule in them, they become ready for eternity. Like me, most will go through physical death to enter into eternity with us. I came back to life, eternal life, after three days. One day, death will die and this world will be transfigured. It is what I announced for my return on earth, when I will come to bring the Father's judgment on earth. Pray that many get away from their foolish pride and open themselves to our love. Don't be too hasty in demanding this day of the Lord to come, because there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. This day will come, pray that many more open their hearts to our saving love.

Why are there diseases in this world?

Jesus, I would like to speak with you about divine healing and about disease. Why did the Father let disease enter into the world?

As you know, the Father told Adam that if he would eat from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he would die. This is what happened. The Father could have killed Adam in an instant, yet he let him live for hundreds of years after the fall. The purpose was to continue to teach Adam through different ways. The first way the Father uses for teaching is to show the consequences of actions, so that the person can change and improve. Adam saw that sin - missing the mark - introduced pain and suffering in his life. Suffering from hard work instead of a harmonious action in the garden of Eden. Suffering from disease. Disobeying the words of love from the Father means we move away from eternal life and closer to eternal death. it implies consequences in your body, in your soul and in your spirit.

Jesus, how does the Father choose which disease to allow? How can he do that?

The purpose is pedagogical. When people suffer from a disease there is a lesson to receive from God. Pain is an invitation to learn to listen better. The problem of humans is that they tend to worship doctors and be demanding with God. Once they change this attitude and worship God they will learn and understand that no suffering is without meaning, that this life on earth is a life for learning about what love really is. Pain is a key part of this learning, although an unpleasant one.
By spending time with us, you will see benefits in your health. We don't teach you all the details about what happens to your body, because it is part of your learning. The closer you are from us, the clearer your understanding. Sometimes we want to speak to you through a doctor, sometimes through a verse. Learning to listen to us also implies listening to your body. When you act, learn to rely on dialogs with me. This was a key learning I needed to do on earth, to open the way for all my disciples. I always kept dialoging with the Father when I moved with people. You have to remain in dialog with us in all you do. The Father is a devouring fire, he wants more from you, he want his love and passion for this world to flow in you, to share it with you. That is what we want. There is so much we can do, so much to teach, so much love to give. One of our key tools is to allow pain, so that you come to us to understand why there is pain. The paradox of humanity is that many want to avoid pain, without realizing that pain often results from a distance from us. Once you learn that the greatest pleasures in this world are experienced with us, this peace that the world cannot give, this joy that is rooted in heaven, then you begin to be the kingdom bearer we want you to be.

Jesus, in the Gospels it seems like everywhere you went all the persons were healed. Is it true? Is it what you want your disciples to experiment?

The answer is very simple: NO. I did not heal everyone. What happens is that in the Gospels what is written is often what impressed people. Sometimes, I did heal all the persons who came to me (see Mark 1:29-34 as an example). This was a way for the Father to make a statement, to teach the people something. The teaching was that in me, in relationship with me, there is healing for the body (diseases) and for the soul (deliverances). The point was made very clearly at some key moments of my ministry. This was an accomplishment of the prophecy of Isaiah 61, the blind saw and the lame walked. This was a first fruit of heaven, of the perfect healing that would come in heaven. You have to realize that I did not heal everyone all the time. If it was the case, people would have crowded me all the time. They did try, and I needed to find ways to keep a distance, staying on a boat, moving away from cities, etc. I came as a man. Filled with the spirit, but not able to be at 2 places at the same time. I really accepted the limits of humanity during my time on earth. Even those who came into contact with me were not all healed. Some were healed, like the woman with a flow of blood (see Mark 5:25-34). Yet, her story was told for the very reason that she was an exception - it was her faith in me that made the difference.

If you did not heal everyone, should we expect that not everyone will be healed when we pray?

Yes. Humans always try to create absolute laws, human laws, that only very imperfectly reflect divine laws. There are indeed divine laws in the universe, to give humans a sense of stability. This is the ground for encountering us and learning with us, not for casting us away and stupidly thinking that men don't need our guidance. Praying is important. Asking is important. Yet, listening to the different answers for different situations is also very important.
Little knowledge is sometimes a very dangerous thing, because it gives the impression that you master, that you got the secret knowledge that givers you power over reality. It is only in our eyes that you will see the true face of reality, that you will not reduce this world to a set of numbers. Numbers are important, yet very limited. The heart of reality is not mathematics but love. Love has logical parts that can be described with a mathematical language. Love also has relational parts that take sense only in dialog with us. This is a very frustrating part for many scientists, because this universe does not exist to be tamed by scientists. It exists to invite each creature to find harmony in us and through fellowship with us. Humans have a key part to play, not as foolish and limited gods that hide their limits, but as lovers, in love with God and in love with this beautiful creation.

Lord's Supper

On the eve of his death, Jesus taught his disciples how to welcome him in them. During the Passover meal, he invited them to take the bread as a way to remember that he was the lamb sacrificed for them, and that his blood was poured for the new covenant with God. (Matthew 26:26-29, Mark 14:22-25, Luke 22:18-20, 1 Cor 11:23-25)
In this way, he helped his disciples realize that they needed his sacrifice for a perfect atonement for their sin - their failure to maintain a harmonious fellowship with God and his creation. Peter, after his denial, would deeply realize how much this was needed by all.
Jesus also taught his disciples that they needed a new type of covenant, a covenant in his blood. The covenant at Sinai was with tablets of stone which left their hearts of stone unchanged, still sick with sin. This new covenant would let God write his covenant in their hearts of flesh. God could then teach their hearts. They would be taught directly by God.
It would allow Jesus' disciples to have not only an external agreement with God, but also an internal fellowship. They would know the Lord without external mediation (Jeremiah 31:31-34). The only mediation for this new covenant would be Jesus, the perfect High Priest, offering the perfect sacrifice (Hebrews 5-10). Jesus therefore fully became The Way to God, The Truth and The Life (John 14:6).
The disciples welcomed the life of Jesus in them, they were thus ready to welcome the Holy Spirit in them, the Spirit that had dwelled in Jesus. In this way they would become themselves temples of the Holy Spirit, temples of the Spirit of Jesus, temples of the Spirit of God, thus temples of God. This is what Jesus was during his whole life, this temple that he would rebuild in three days through his resurrection.
A temple is a place where God's manifest presence dwells - what is called the 'glory' of God in the Bible. A temple is also a place where people can ask questions to God and receive answers. Presence and dialogue, the two keys to intimacy and love with God. Without God's presence it is futile to expect to be able to dialog with God. Without dialogs with God it is hard to develop a real love for God, a love relationship with God.
By welcoming the bread - Jesus' body sacrificed for them, the disciples received the power of the atonement for their sins. By welcoming the fruit of the vine as Jesus' blood poured for them for a new covenant in him, they prepared for welcoming the Holy Spirit, for this internal fellowship with God through his presence and teaching.

In the same way, we are invited, as disciples of Jesus, to participate in the Lord's Supper through faith.
As members of a community of faith, we can welcome Jesus' sacrifice for us in taking the bread. We can also welcome his new covenant as we drink of the fruit of the vine. In this way, we are by faith forgiven of our sins and invited to fellowship with God. These two elements are intimately related. Ultimately, sin is the failure to remain in fellowship with God, to listen to him and do his will, so that in response God would do what we ask from him. The healing provided by Jesus, the salvation (in Hebrew: Yeshoua - also translated Jesus), is to deliver us from our separation from God. We needed to be forgiven of our sins (bread) and reunited for intimate fellowship with God through a new covenant (fruit of the vine).
In this way, in Jesus, we could become temples of God, experiencing both the presence and intimate dialogs with God. This enables us to really love God with all our hearts, soul and strength, and our neighbor as ourselves. By being God-centered, spirit-filled, spirit-led, we are no more self-centered. We are not anymore alone in this world.
We can be filled with the presence of the living God, as Jesus showed us the way. We can be filled with this life that is eternal.

Do you believe this? Do you believe Jesus' promise when you participate in the Lord's Supper?
Are you ready to fully enter into this divine experiment of a life transformed by the Spirit of God? Jesus came for this single purpose, to allow us to be delivered from our sins and to enter in a new covenant of intimacy with God. That is the foundation and reason of the Lord's Supper.
It is all about love, God's love for us, God's love in us, God's love through us.
Are you ready to fully embark on this wonderful adventure?
Jesus is waiting for you!
